Day 4 — Spread the Love

Children's Ministry Outreach & Basketball Game

Christ Holiness Church · GMA, Cavite · June 11, 2026 · 3:00–6:00 PM

Christ Holiness Church is the home congregation of Pastor Christopher — the pastor officiating our wedding. After three days of celebration, we end the week back in church, taking the joy outward through a children's ministry and a friendly game.

The afternoon is shaped around three small acts of welcome: a feeding program for around 80–100 children from the surrounding community, a short word from the pastor, and a friendly basketball game between the youth and the men on the church court. No program, no formality — just food, prayer, and a game. The week began for one of us in a sanctuary like this one; it feels right to end it the same way.

What the day looks like

Three movements

Feeding Program

A full hot meal shared with about 80–100 children from the surrounding community. Cooked together, served together.

Detail

Around 80–100 kids

Bring a hand, bring a heart. If you can help serve, we will pair you with a station.

Basketball — Youth vs Men's

A friendly, mixed game on the church court. Youth and men playing together; everyone watching brings the cheer.

Detail

About 20–25 players

If you brought trainers, lace up. If you did not, bring your loudest cheer.

Sharing the Word

A short message from the pastor and a moment of corporate prayer over the kids, the players, and the community.

Detail

Held between the feeding and the game

Just be present. That is the gift.

The team jersey

KENYAPINAS · №23

One name stitched from two — Kenya and the Philippines, on a single jersey. The side panels carry a woven motif borrowed from both heritages; the back wears the family name we share that day.

The name

KENYAPINAS

Two homelands, one wordmark — the same idea behind the whole week.

The pattern

Woven sides

The side panels carry a tapestry motif — a nod to Filipino weaving and Kikuyu textile traditions sharing one rail.

The number

№23 · Gichuru

The family name George carries onto the court — and the one Zoë takes on at the altar the day before.
